Hi! ...We're Teresa & Dave White, owners and operators of Bandera's Bunkhouse, Inc. We live here at Bandera's Bunkhouse because we just love this country and the people are some of the nicest we have ever met.

We live here near a small rural community called Howard.
Bandera's Bunkhouse offers a variety of options to suit your needs. We have 6 completely remodeled Motel Rooms, 3 completely remodeled Cabins, 5 full hookup RV Sites, Group & Individual Tent Sites and Camping Areas. We are very proud of our wagon & buggy rides and most excited about our growing Cowboy Dinner and Music Show that takes place on the back-side of the motel.

There are breathtaking views all around of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range.

We are located about 13 miles East of Salida and 25 miles West of Canon City (Royal Gorge area) right on the banks of the Arkansas River. Our excellent access to the Arkansas River provides opportunities for gold panning, great mountain trout fishing and white water rafting. The Rainbow Trail and other nearby public lands offer great mountain biking, hiking, motorcycling, hunting, wildlife viewing and other activities. A short drive will take you to the Salida Hot Springs, mine tours, ghost towns, the Royal Gorge or to a historic train ride in Canon City. Come to Bandera's Bunkhouse and travel back in time with us. Whether your favorite feature is the horse drawn wagon or buggy rides, the down home cowboy steak dinners or the live authentic western music and singing, we are sure you will go home humming one of our real western tunes.
